Obesity Help Event 2007 video two.  No one expects you to be perfect in your dietary choices.   Weight loss is never linear...it is a series of steps.  You can't rely on exercise to lose weight.  Exercise is good for your long term health and it will shape you once you've lost the weight.  But, food quantity and quality always rules weight loss.  Today's food portions are larger and laden with carbohydrate and fat calories, more than what can be burned through exercise.  Do exercise!  But do it intelligently.  Don't overdo it at the outset and hurt yourself.  If you have never exercised or if you haven't done it for years, consult with a personal trainer first.

NOTICE:  The lap band is considered major surgery, with all the risks of surgery, including the possibility of tubing breaks, port flips, band slips, erosion, and even death.  While these risks are small, they are real.
