Raw or Cooked Vegetables Do you remember your mom telling you that vegetables were best raw and not cooked? Well, mom was wrong!
In one way she was correct - if you take raw vegetables, and put them into a science lab and break them down they will have more of the good stuff than cooked-- but human beings don't have the enzymes to break down.
Turns out that humans get much better nutrition from cooked vegetables. I have a short video about this that you can see if you click here

Support Group Thursday Our support group will be Thursday night, December 19th at 6:30 p.m. at Surgical Specialty Hospital. Dr. Simpson will be there and will help you come up with some great ideas for the New Year.
This next year we will be opening up an East side location for support groups once a month, and for fills. Stay tuned- we are working to get this done so that we can make it easier to take care of all our patients throughout the valley. We don't know when it will open yet- but we hope by February. We will send out an announcement as soon as we can take appointments, do adjustments, and have support groups.
Our Monday hours have expanded to go Monday afternoon. Please note that some Monday mornings we will be not seeing patients until 11 a.m. - not all, but some - so please be flexible.
This Saturday we have hours until noon- with a patient seminar at 10. If someone you know needs to learn about the band- encourage them to come to this free seminar!
