Remember when people moved to Phoenix to get away from the allergies? Then everyone moved to Phoenix and planted their favorite plants - and guess what-- we are the allergy capital of the world.
When does allergy season end? Typically when the very hot weather comes. The hot days kill those plants and their pollen and we can breath easier for a bit.
Windy weather, cooler weather means a lot more suffering.
Here are a few things you can do:(a) Drink a lot of liquids-- no doubt you are miserable with dry eyes, and a lot of phlegm and "snot" going down. In fact, the thick liquid can make you feel miserable. Chase it with hot tea
(b) Stay inside during the windy timesif you can and close the windows. As much as you don't like to use the air conditioner early- seal up the house for this month and use the air conditioner - not the swamp cooler
(c) If you are really miserable see your primary care doctor- there are some short term medicines you can use for allergies- and for some even a shot
Bands are a lot more swollen during allergy season- so be careful of what you eat. This means be diligent- and you may find there are more difficulties with certain foods.
As always-- if something is stuck for more than an hour-- you need to be on liquids for 48 hours. Things get stuck for a long period of time can cause more issues.
So be careful - and typically after 3 100 degree days the allergies stop and you can breath easy!
