Introduction

Pregnancy increases nutritional needs and may require a woman to eat more than the Lap-band will allow.  A prospective mother’s enhanced need for nourishment can be fulfilled by adjusting the lap-band to be less constrictive.  This is a great reason to have an Adjustable Lap-band.  After the baby is delivered, the lap-band can be adjusted to again facilitate weight loss.  This can be done in the office, with no surgery.
