FULL LIQUID DIET All UNJURY flavors mixed as suggested below are allowed on a Full Liquid Diet UNJURY Chocolate or Vanilla mixed in skim milk, soy milk or Lactaid milk or (not hot) coffee -- decaf or regular. Vanilla UNJURY mixed in orange flavored beverages or juices for a dreamsicle taste. Strawberry Sorbet UNJURY mixed in water, sugar free lemonade or skim milk, soy milk or Lactaid milk. UNJURY Chicken Broth Flavor mixed in warm (not hot) water. Unflavored UNJURY mixed in beverages (e.g. Crystal Light), warm soups. Vanilla UNJURY mixed in cereals such as cream of wheat or oatmeal. PUREED FOOD DIET Any of the UNJURY choices from the clear liquid or full diet are allowed on a pureed diet. Here are some additional ideas: Use Chicken Broth Flavor UNJURY (mixed in warm water) in place of water when pureeing vegetables or chicken.
SOFT FOOD DIET All of the UNJURY choices from the above are allowed on a Soft diet. Use Chicken Broth Flavor UNJURY (mixed in warm water) to moisten soft vegetables and soft cooked chicken. Mix Chicken Broth Flavor UNJURY (mixed in warm water) in place of milk or water when making mashed potatoes. Add pasta and soft cooked vegetables, such as carrots or peas, to prepared Chicken Broth Flavor UNJURY.
Back to the Post-op Instructions Outline REGULAR FOOD DIET To prevent weight regain, use 1-2 scoops of UNJURY daily on an on-going long term basis. This diet does not provide adequate vitamins and minerals to meet daily requirements. A multi-vitamin is recommended daily. If milk intake is limited, Calcium supplementation is recommended
